As you know, we are expanding into the neighboring space to add more room for browsing, a co-working table, and other great features that we think everyone will be excited about!
In order to make these changes, the store will be closed for in-store browsing Monday, March 20th through Friday, March 24th. During construction week, from 10am to 4pm, we'll be serving coffee and smoothies from the café window, and will have walk up service for the bookstore, so come around back where we can help you! Every person who visits us during this week will be entered to win a prize at the end of every day!
We will also be processing web orders, answering phones, and responding to emails during this time so please don't hesitate to reach out. In-store pick-up will still be an option for web orders, just wait for a bookseller to reach out and let you know that your order is ready for pick up. Some parts of the store may be inaccessible during any given time, due to the construction, so please bear with us if your order takes a bit longer than usual to fulfill. We will also be more than happy to special order books for you that we don't have in stock, and the special order timeline is the same as when the store is regularly open (3-7 business days based on which of our distributor's warehouses the book is in).
During this week, the café will be offering drinks service ONLY (coffee, tea, smoothies, etc.) and soup subscriptions will be unavailable.
The store will be completely closed with no offered services on Sunday, March 19th, Saturday, March 25th, and Sunday, March 26th so we can do our biannual store-wide inventory and make sure the store is ready for regular browsing on Monday, March 27th! This also means that web orders placed late 3/18 through 3/19 will be processed 3/20, and ones placed late 3/24 through 3/26 will be processed 3/27.

Thursday March 23rd -- Hours are 10-4; full walk-up services from the café door on the patio for books and gifts, drinks service from the café window. Adult Book Fair event at 5:30pm in the Bookworm event space which will not be impacted by the construction. Click here for full details.

Monday March 27th -- We are back!! We'll be open for regular hours, store browsing, and services for books, gifts, and food from the café!
