Join us, the Eagle County Sheriff's Office, Eagle County Paramedic Services, and Eagle River Fire Protection District to celebrate National Coffee With a Cop Day and first responder story time! From 8:00-9:00am come by the Bookworm Cafe to chat with police officers and discuss issues and learn more about them. According to the Coffee With a Cop website: "The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve." Then at 9:00am, paramedics and firefighters will join the Sheriff's Office for a special story time and read some books that feature first responders like them. And as a special treat, paramedics, firefighters, and deputies will bring a vehicle with them for kids to see up close!
