Alpine Arts Center and The Bookworm are pairing up for this wonderful evening of art and literature. "Broken For You" by Stephanie Kallos is described as "funny, heartbreaking and alive with a potpourri of eccentric and irresistible characters" and the story illustrates the amazing qualities of mosaics as an art form.
After reading this novel, you will have the opportunity to create your own mosaics at Alpine Arts Center and be able to share this experience with other readers! We will meet from 7-9pm, and at the end of the evening you will have your own mosaic to take home with you, and hopefully a new appreciation for the book as well!
Register online; the workshop is $30. All mosaics materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring any sentimental items that can be incorporated into your mosaics for a personal touch.
