The Bookworm has invited the Edwards Elementary kindergarten class to a very special storytime with our very own Sandy Fuller. Sandy, children’s literary agent and Bookworm bookseller, helped to bring "The BLUES Go Birding" to life with illustrator Louise Schroeder and long-time educator, birder, and writer Carol L. Malnor.   With a unique combination of cartoon and realism, this new book introduces young children to the BLUES, five adventurous bluebird friends who will tickle the fancy of young children while introducing them to the birds of America and birdwatching as a delightful outdoor sport. In The BLUES Go Birding Across America children will laugh as they follow the travels of Bing, Lulu, Uno, Eggbert, and Sammi while they discover an amazing variety of birds. This book is an imaginative travelogue as well as a young person’s first bird book! This event is FREE and open to kids ages 5 to 7!
