The Vail Symposium presents Unlimited Adventure with Roz Savage
Start: 6:00 pm
End: 8:00 pm
Solo ocean rower Roz Savage describes her adventures on the Atlantic and Pacific in hopes of rowing the oceans for a greener future. She’s using her experience to inspire action on climate change. Roz is a British ocean rower, author, speaker and environmental campaigner. After 11 years working as a management consultant, she embarked on a new life direction—in a rowboat. In 2005, she rowed solo 3,000 miles across the Atlantic and is now attempting to become the first woman to row solo across the Pacific. Roz is a UN Climate Hero. She has been listed among the Top 20 Great British Adventurers by the Daily Telegraph, and the Top 10 Adventure Twitters by Outside Magazine. Her book, Rowing the Atlantic, was recently released.
