Anna says: A lot happens in the gripping novel, Northward to the Moon, by the Nebery Honor award winner Polly Horvath. In this amusing tale, 12 year old Jane lives with her mom, step-dad, and three younger siblings, one girl and 2 boys in the desolate town of Saskatchewan, Canada. When her stepdad, Ned gets fired from his job of a French teacher (he doesn't speak French) he family is forced to move. They decide to drive up to Alaska so Ned can connect with a few friends, but when they come into some unexpected cash they go on a wild goose chase to return it. I would recommend it for fans of Everything on a Waffle. You will love the crazy antics and hilarious peril in Northward to the Moon!

It’s a really good book. I liked it because in Camp Happy Hollow there was a competition called clash of the cabins and there were sports like volleyball, canoeing, and swimming. Your cabin had to win the most points in all of the sports and you would get to go to a really spooky cabin. It was called Haunted Hollow. I would recommend it to my friends because I liked Humphrey and Og!"
