The Bookworm gives back

Every year, The Bookworm donates goods and services to silent auctions across the Vail Valley. In fact, we've made it our policy NEVER to say no! So if books can help your organization raise funds in 2012, please ask.

In 2011, The Bookworm donated $4,139 in proceeds generated from book sales at fundraisers for the following organizations:

Thousands of books have been donated this year to improve the lives of Eagle County residents through the organizations from which they receive assistance. This year, the recipients of bulk organizational donations were: 

  • The Golden Eagle Senior Center
  • Book Buddy program of The Youth Foundation 
  • Red Sandstone Elementary School
  • Eagle County Jail

The Bookworm is proud to remit sales tax to Eagle County and the State of Colorado to help support our public schools, roads, services and amenities.
